On Tuesday, July 23rd from 7:00-8:30 PM, please join Karyn Alzayer, an experienced henna artist, for a Henna Tattoo class. She will guide participants through a relaxing evening of learning about the history and traditions, mixing, and application techniques of henna body art. Each participant will receive an instructional handout as well a henna design drawn by the instructor. This event is for ages 11 and up. To participate, registration is required. Have any questions? Wander the streets listening to minstrels infusing the air with music. Meet Robin Hood and his Merry Men as well as Maid Marion! Stroll the enchanted paths of Sherwood Forest. But watch out for the Sheriff!

This festival, brings together theater, fun, food, and entertainment with a medieval flair. It is a day for everyone: kids, teens, and adults alike. Come in costume or come as you are, and enjoy the festival!

For the 10th year in a row East Somerville Main Streets will partner with the City of Somerville and the Somerville Arts Council to present Carnaval @ SomerStreets on June 2nd, 2019 (rain date June 9th).

Last year the festival attracted about 6,000 visitors from East Somerville and the greater Boston area, making it the most successful Carnaval to date! Streets were closed to cars, but open to thousands of people to enjoy awesome music, performances from community groups, children's activities, and food from all over the world.

From historical knights to fantastical fairies, NHRF brings together education and fun for the whole family. Our merchants are mainly local artisans with an emphasis on hand made items including costumes, jewelry, pottery, herbals, weaponry, and more. Some will even demonstrate their craft live for your enjoyment.

PARKING/SHUTTLE
There will not be any public parking available at deCordova during Park Fest, except for accessibility needs. Parking will occur offsite with shuttle buses running all day. 5K shuttle service begins at 8 am, and Park Fest shuttle service begins at 10:45 am and ends at 5:30 pm.
