Join this celebration of creative expression in Downtown Chelsea on Saturday, October 7, at the Chelsea Walk (Luther Place) at 11:00am as we unveil local poetry written to this year’s theme: Development in Chelsea.

The Chelsea Poetry Walk event caters to all ages. Families are invited to celebrate the power of spoken word in the Chelsea community. There will be prizes, event merchandise, performances by local talent, refreshments and an opportunity bond over a mutual love of Chelsea.

Haverhill Art Walk Art Market
Between 61-93 Washington St. Haverhill

Haverhill Art Walk is an outdoor and indoor event on September 30th throughout downtown Haverhill. Art Walk highlights local businesses, forgotten alleyways, and underutilized spaces with an artist market, plein air painting, exhibitions, demonstrations, and music performances.

Artist Karyn Alzayer will guide participants through learning about the history, traditions, and application techniques of henna body art. Materials will be provided for each participant to learn and dabble with henna, including a handout and a henna cone for each attendee. Each participant will be able to try henna on their own skin or on a provided note card and will also receive a demonstration design from the instructor as well.

Festival by the Sea is a celebration of the things that are synonymous with Cape Ann in the summertime: Art, Music & Food ! Booths will be spread throughout downtown Manchester. Your senses will be inspired by the beautiful art, extraordinary live music and the aromas of delicious, local foods.

Free outdoor event, all along Pleasant St. in Malden 12-4.

Save the date for CACHE in Medford's Circle the Square on Saturday, June 17 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. In this free downtown street festival, Medford Square comes alive with live music, dance performances, food vendors, family activities, as well as a variety of programs and discounts offered by local businesses and organizations.

Array of Trades is thrilled to partner with the Haverhill Art Walk to host The Art Market as an extension to their awesome event. Please join us in Historic downtown Haverhill at the first Art Walk of the season, for an afternoon of plein air painting, exhibitions, demonstrations, music performances and shopping one of a kind unique crafts, fine art, jewelry, woodwork and more handmade by local artists. We will have a paint tent, chalk drawing and other family fun activities. Then stop by our participating establishments for extended programming, fine dining and drinks.

The Framingham Earth Day Festival will feature a commissioned participatory work by Alzayer.

Come join artist Karyn Alzayer as she leads a hands-on workshop to help you learn to preserve all the special flowers in your life. In this 2-hour class, students will mix clay using dried rose petals, roll and shape beads, and finish them by baking. Each student will take home 10-20 rose petal beads they make in the class.

No prior experience necessary. All supplies included. Registration deadline September 6th.
